A Star shaped from Copper Aluminium Wire

1.   Cut a 140 cm piece of aluminium wire. Double over the wire and twist it twice approx. 10 cm from the ends.

2.   Insert a pencil in the loop and twist by turning the pencil around using your finger.

3.   Shape the twisted part of the wire as a star. Either free hand, around nails in a star shape on a board or using a star shape cutter. Twist a couple of times when you get to the last tip of the star in order to secure the wire.

4.   Nip off the twisted part of the wire approx. 1 cm from the star shape.

5.   Shape the remaining wire into a coil for hanging. You may use round nose pliers.
