Reusable patchwork fabric gift wrapping

Wrap presents in patchwork fabric using the Japanese inspired technique (Furoshiki). Re-use the fabric for wrapping other presents or use it for another project.

1 Place a piece of patchwork fabric on a surface with the wrong side face up. Place a gift box in the middle and gather the top corner of the fabric in the middle of the box as shown in this photo.
2 Now gather the bottom corner of the fabric in the middle of the box.
3 Gather the remaining two corners; one at a time (whilst holding the other two corners). Tie a piece of string around all four corners.
4 Fold the tip of the corners towards the middle and push them inside where they meet to make a flower.
