A Greeting Card with a woven Design from Vivi Gade Design Paper

The front of the folded greeting card is decorated with a woven design made from paper strips and a border made from Masking Tape. Both are Vivi Gade Designs from the Paris series.

1. Cut ten vertical lines on the front of the card, each 13.5cm long. Cut the two outer lines first with a margin of 1cm to the edges of the card. In between each vertical line, the distance should be approx. 1.15cm. Use a cutting mat!
2. Cut the paper weaving strips so the length of the strips is the same as the width of the front of the card. Make a heart and weave horizontally in and out through the paper slits. The paper strips which appear in almost full length, should be fixed roughly in the middle with an E-Z Runner.
3. Continue until the design is complete.
4. Use the E-Z Runner and attach the loose ends on the back of the front cover of the greeting card.
5. Make a border with Masking Tape along the top of the front cover of the greeting card.
