Rapeseed wax candles in a glass lantern decorated with dried flowers

1 You will need approx. 225 g rapeseed wax for each glass lantern. Chop it into small pieces.

2 Melt the wax over a water bath. Don't let it boil.

3 Keep the wick in place with a clothes peg and place the peg across the glass lantern as shown in the photo. Pour the melted wax into the candle holder.

4 Leave the wax to set and trim the excess candle wick.

5 Decorate the glass lanterns with dried flowers. Brush a layer of glass decoupage lacquer onto a piece of plastic. A tip: you may use the packaging from the dried flowers.

6 Gently place the leaves in the decoupage lacquer.

7 Carefully apply decoupage lacquer onto the entire leaf using a brush.

8 Decorate the glass lantern with leaves.

9 Apply another coat of decoupage lacquer on top of the leaves.
