1 Measure the height that you want to paint from the bottom of the egg and mark with a pencil. Mark all the way around the circumference of the egg or the rabbit.
2 Attach masking tape along the marks and make sure it is secured firmly along the bottom edge as illustrated in the picture.
3 Paint the bottom half of the egg with Plus Color craft paint. Always paint from the middle of the masking tape and downwards – never upwards towards the masking tape. This results in a sharper edge and minimises the risk of paint underneath the masking tape. You may apply two coats of paint if the paint doesn't cover completely after the first coat.
5 Apply decoupage lacquer onto a small area at a time (it dries quickly). Sprinkle a few terrazzo flakes over the wet lacquer or pick up the flakes with the brush and attach them one at a time, thus controlling the distribution of the flakes yourself. Apply decoupage lacquer all over the painted area.
