A Christmas Tree from coloured Aluminium Wire on a Cernit Stand

1.   Bend a 32 cm piece of aluminium wire in the middle to make the tree trunk. Cut six pieces of aluminium wire in different sizes for the branches of the tree.

2.   Branches: Bend a short piece of aluminium wire in the middle over the pliers.

3.   Branches continued: Bend a long piece of aluminium wire in the middle over the pliers.

4.   Make a curl at both ends of the bent 'branch'.

5.   Build up the tree with branches. Begin with the largest branch.

6.   Use instant glue for attaching all the branches.

7.   Form a square tree stand from cernit. Push the two-part 'trunk' onto the cernit stand. Let it dry slightly. Place the tree and stand in the oven for approx. 20 minutes at approx. 120°C to harden the cernit.
