A Figure from a Nylon-covered Aluminium Bar on a Stone Clay Stand

Each figure is shaped from aluminium bars, covered with colourful nylon cord. A stand is made from Stone Clay and then left to dry. The figure is attached to the stone, using the same bars as the ones used for shaping it.

Cómo hacerlo
1. Form a stand from Stone Clay for supporting the figure. Allow to dry.
2. Using your imagination, shape a figure from aluminium bars which are assembled as you go along. Here we have made a human figure in a dress.
3. You may use round nose pliers for bending the aluminium bar and when assembling several bars by twisting them.
4. Twist an aluminium bar around the neck for arms. NB: when cutting the nylon cord covered aluminium bar, melt the cord beforehand with a lighter to prevent it unravelling.
5. The legs: twist an aluminium bar around the Stone Clay stand and secure by twisting it.
6. Secure the other end of the aluminium bar around the edge of the dress, then shape the other leg. You may cut it to the right size.
