A Party Invitation and Card with a Wooden Heart

1. Cut the card and paper to size (slightly smaller than the front of the greeting card) and attach using double-sided adhesive tape.

2. Tie a piece of natural hemp through the hole at the top of the wooden heart and attach this onto the front of the greeting card.

3. Print text onto a piece of party card. Use the template heart when cutting out the text in a heart shape.

4. Attach the heart with the text onto the wooden heart using double-sided adhesive tape.

5. Make a hole with hole punch pliers and tie a piece of natural hemp through the hole.

6. Menu card: Cut a piece of card measuring 28 x 9cm. Score across the middle with a bone folder and fold to make it a double-sided card. Attach the dotted paper, the printed menu and the heart which is cut out from Vivi Gade Design paper (the Skagen series).

7. Table decoration: Cut out a heart from Vivi Gade Design paper (the Skagen series) and soften it in warm water making it easy to lie flat and smooth. Decoupage it onto a fabric heart using decoupage lacquer for fabric.
