A wedding invitation decorated with a dress and a dinner jacket

1   Cut a piece of laced card the same size as the die used in the die-cutting and embossing machine. Place the laced card and the die between the platform and the cutting mat and punch out the design.

2   Attach the dress onto the left-hand side of the front of the greeting card using a glue pen. Apply small dots of glue from the glue pen onto the dress and attach the dress onto the front of the greeting card.

3   Cut away part of the front of the greeting card as shown in the photo.

4   Use the template which is available as a separate PDF file on this page. Cut out the small parts for the groom's dinner jacket. Make one part of the shirt from off-white card and two parts from black card for the collar. Score and fold as shown in the photo.

5   Punch out a tie for the groom.

6   Trim the tie to fit the shirt and glue the cut-out parts onto the right-hand side inside the greeting card.

7   Cut a piece of white card for the bride's and the groom's names. Glue it onto a piece of laced card. Cut it in half and glue both halves onto the front of the greeting card.

8   Attach self-adhesive rhinestones onto the shirt for buttons. Print or write the actual invitation on off-white paper and glue it onto the inside of the greeting card as shown in the photo.

9   Decorate the envelope with laced card and white card for the name and address.
