Candle Holders with Frost Effect and Decoupaged Text

The four candle holders that make up a word are individually frosted with Glass Color Frost. A letter is cut out from Vivi Gade Design Paper (the Paris series) and glued onto the candle holder with decoupage lacquer for glass and porcelain.

1. Use a foam sponge and dab Glass Color Frost onto the candle holder. Let it dry.

2. Fix the varnished candle holders in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 160°C.

3. Print out the template with the letters for the word "NOÉL", available as a separate PDF file for this idea. Attach the template onto the Vivi Gade Design paper and then onto a cutting mat. Cut through both layers (the template and the Vivi Gade Design Paper).

4. Attach a cut-out letter onto candle holder, with decoupage lacquer for glass and porcelain. Use a cloth or a sponge for dabbing on the decoupage lacquer. Also dab decoupage lacquer onto the letters after they have been attached onto the candle holders!
