Creative Trivets

1   Pernille Uglebjerg is 26 years old and works in 'Bixen' in 'The Workshops' just north of Copenhagen. We have peeked over her shoulder to see how she decorates coasters. Pernille uses opaque porcelain markers and brings out the most lovely details and designs. "I love drawing and painting and I think that the best result is achieved when filling the entire coaster with colours", explains Pernille. Now is the time to make things for the annual Christmas market, where trivets and other home-made items will be sold. As a new feature at this year's Christmas market you will be able to purchase Pernille's drawings which she will publish as a colouring book.
