La palabra cultura alude a «cultivar». En Creativ Company, cultivamos algo verdaderamente único en nuestro lugar de trabajo. Los visitantes y los nuevos compañeros nos describen como amables, acogedores, atentos y serviciales, con un enfoque en la igualdad. Eventos sociales
At Creativ Company, we dont only enjoy our work, but also each others company. That is why the company and our staff association organise lots of social events, including a Christmas party and summer get-togethers, but we also meet for padel tournaments, Friday after-work drinks, bowling, barbecues, creative workshops, bingo, lectures, and company visits. Each department also organises a social event four times a year, from dinners to footgolf, bike rides, cocktail tastings, moped trips, going to the movies - or whatever else they can come up with.

Creativ Company started back in 2000 with a dream shared by its two founders, Lotte Littau Kjaergaard and Peter Norgaard. These two entrepreneurs dreamed of creating a dream factory, a vision of the perfect workplace where anything is possible, where employees enjoy family-friendly working hours, benefits, and exciting work tasks. At the dream factory, the usual doesnt apply - here we do things in a way that makes sense for both employees and the business, we aim high and there's opportunities for development, challenges, diversity, play and creativity.

Our department is a fun and enjoyable place to work. And even though we are all quite different, there is an exceptionally good atmosphere and interaction. I think that the trust, freedom, and limited control here bring peace of mind, which makes me more efficient and productive. There is a fundamental belief that employees want what's best for the company, which is why responsibility can be given to everyone. Its a fantastic arrangement, which means I truly feel a sense of responsibility for the business and not only my small section of it.

Cercanía y consideración
Aquí la clave es la transparencia, tanto entre compañeros como en cuanto a la información de la dirección. Los nuevos desarrollos se comunican inmediatamente, para que todos reciban la misma información al mismo tiempo, para que podamos evitar malentendidos y bromas. La dirección es visible y se involucra a diario, lo que resulta en proximidad y consideración. Cada uno de los empleados es importante, no solo una pieza más de la máquina.
I’m also happy that we can accommodate the fact that people have different needs, and that its perfectly okay, for example, if you cant work full-time or if you need special considerations. Ive not experienced this elsewhere, so its impressive how much the human aspect is emphasised here and how much pride there is within the company. Its an infectious culture that spreads quickly.

I think its hard to say what the culture is because its so ingrained here that you dont notice that its so special. But when I visit other workplaces, I feel that something is missing. I would definitely miss all the small, everyday things like greeting each other, tidying up after ourselves and each other, talking kindly to each other, doing something extra and showing a genuine interest in each other. Its not something we have to make an effort to do because thats just the way it is here. Positive breeds positive, so when you do something for others, the kindness grows and spreads.

Queremos lo mejor para los demás
En Creativ Company nos centramos en que las personas se cuiden y cuiden unas de otras. La empresa ha crecido y noto que ahora hay más actividad, pero por suerte eso no ha afectado a las normas no escritas que tenemos sobre el buen tono ni a la forma en que nos comportamos y nos tratamos entre nosotros.
En nuestro departamento, podemos ser nosotros mismos en el trabajo. Nos conocemos bien y no pensamos menos en nadie cuando tienen un mal día. El humor y las bromas forman parte de nuestra vida cotidiana. No pasa ningún día sin que compartamos momentos de risas.

Como volver a casa
Creo que la cultura es acogedora, inclusiva, diversa, servicial y familiar. Cuando empecé aquí, me sentí como si estuviera en casa. No es «peligroso» cometer un error porque nos tratamos mutuamente con respeto en todas las circunstancias y nunca culpamos a nadie cuando algo sale mal. Esto aporta una buena sensación de seguridad.
Otra característica de nuestra cultura es que nos gusta celebrar. Lo celebramos todo, desde unas buenas cifras de ventas hasta el final de la temporada alta. Pero también celebramos San Martín y Halloween, organizamos una reunión de diciembre, asistimos a actuaciones teatrales juntos y celebramos aniversarios. Por no mencionar todos los eventos organizados por la asociación del personal. Hay muchas oportunidades y ocasiones para reunirnos fuera del lugar de trabajo.

Trabajar las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana no es algo que se espere ni que se premie
En Creativ Company siempre nos tratamos mutuamente con respeto. Nos escuchamos mutuamente, ayudamos donde podemos y no solo pensamos en nosotros mismos y en nuestras propias tareas. Diría que nuestra cultura es familiar, cordial y acogedora. Es simplemente la forma en que se hacen las cosas aquí, y por eso tampoco necesitamos un mostrador de recepción. Todos asumimos la responsabilidad de ayudar a nuestros clientes.
Creo que es muy saludable que, en general, las horas extra no estén bien valoradas, ya que eso favorece un buen equilibrio entre la vida laboral y la personal. No se espera que trabajes todo el tiempo. Y también tienes la flexibilidad de planificar tareas para adaptarte a tu vida privada.

When I started my internship here, it was almost a cultural shock. I wasnt used to everyone talking so much and so respectfully to each other and having fun together. This is completely different from other places where Ive worked. Its the atmosphere and the way everyone treats each other. No one looks at me funny because Im employed on special terms, and I feel on equal terms with the rest of the group. It means a lot that I can be myself because I can spend my energy on my tasks instead of having to pretend to be something Im not. Its thanks to the culture at Creativ Company that I have found the right job for me.
